7 hours at the rink, 2 shows, 2 and a half camera cards, and A LOT of squats later, I completed shooting the Red Rose Figure Skating Club’s presentation of Oz on Ice. My sweet Laila was in the Lullabye League and had so much fun with her little girlfriends. There were so many terrific performances and so much hard work that went into this production. Everything from the costumes and choreography to the auction table, t-shirts and programs…everything was done whole-heartedly. All of the coaches, parents and skaters should be proud! This year, I had the opportunity to not only donate a free session to the auction, but also be able to give back to the club a little bit through the sale of the photos taken during the show. If you participated in the show and would like to be able to view and purchase photos from the day, please feel free to contact me for the necessary password to access your gallery. The gallery will be up until January 31, 2014 at which point a portion of the total sales will be donated back to the club. Sorry for the long post (and some of the tiny photos), but it was hard to choose. Skaters, there are many more in your gallery!
Andrea - Love how you’ve captured this and the story you tell through the collages!
a_hamilton - Thank you, Andrea! It was a lot of fun too 🙂
