Catching up on a little blogging today. As always, I love photographing any of the shows that are put on by the Red Rose Figure Skating Club. I have been on the ice ever since I could walk. I have my Dad to thank for my love of the ice. He and my brother played hockey and I grew up figure skating for the Hershey Figure Skating Club. As life happened, my competitive skating career was over almost as soon as it started. I know that it was God’s plan for my life though, and am so happy to now be able to share my passion with my own family.
This was the spring show from April of this year. It was a mix of songs from Beauty and the Beast and Frozen. The choreography, costumes, and skating were all just as spectacular as I knew they would be. I love being back on the ice and being surrounded by those that love it just as much as I do. It is impossible to narrow down my favorites from that day, but here are a few that I thought I would share.
If you would like to learn more about either figure skating or hockey lessons (from age 3 through adult), please come out and try our Learn to Skate Lessons on either Friday or Sunday nights this fall. For more info, visit the Lancaster Ice Rink Website. Also, we have a FREE event on Sunday, September 7th from 4:45 – 5:45 pm for ages 3-12….we’d love to see you there!!!
