My goal in 2015, is to stay on top of my PERSONAL photos better. They’re always the last to get edited, printed, shared, etc. So much to the point that I can tell I’ve been shooting less just for myself. So I am making a point of it to edit, blog, save and put into a photo book each month. Then at the end of the year, I can easily print our Yearly Family Photo Album! 🙂
Here is my first month…January 2015. Its always a crazy time for us…just coming off of the Holidays (which also includes Josh’s birthday and our Anniversary, both in January), then turning around and planning Laila and Cole’s birthday. Also, this year, Cole was super sick for over a week 🙁 We got hit with tons of snow, Jasmine hurt her leg while chasing Mams’ kitty cat, and business started to really pick up for both Josh and I. All that to say, still not a lot of shooting was done in January, but I’ve also been utilizing my iPhone a lot more now that I upgraded and finally have more space…yay!
I feel so accomplished to get January checked off my list. Off to edit February now! 🙂 Hope you enjoy some of these pics of my babies…

They still share a room, and a bed, and pink ladybug flower sheets, but they love it and snuggle together all the time!
(at least he has on car pajamas!)
Snowman cookies that they got from Great Mema and Pap-Pap for Christmas
Cole had been sick for days and we were cooped up in the house. We had a quiet afternoon, a little overcast, and the lightest prettiest snowfall, so Laila, Jasmine and I decided to go out and play. I of course had another agenda 🙂 I loooove these photos of my girls, but all my photographers will feel my pain here…I SHOT THESE ALL IN MEDIUM SIZE JPEG MODE! 🙁 I had been shooting some cars that we were listing to sell and forgot to switch it back to RAW. I always triple check before a client shoot, but because this was so last minute, I guess I forgot. When I realized what I did, I wanted to cry, but fortunately, these are pretty much SOOC with just a little bit of tweaking…sooooo, I may not be able to print them very large, but at least the quality will still be there. So PSA…always check to make sure that even if you shoot JPEG, that its a large enough file size, that you can print larger than an 11×14 if you want to.
I still love these and will cherish them always…no matter what size they’re ever printed.
Earmuffs purchased for Laila while I was in NYC in December 🙂

What do you do when you’re on your way to your daughter’s family birthday dinner, and its freezing cold out, but you see some pretty light?
You stop, pull over and ask her to dance around and let you take her picture 🙂
I think it was worth it 🙂
Making her birthday treats to take into school to share with her teachers and friends!
