My February ::: Project 365 {Lancaster, PA Lifestyle Photographer}

So this year is flying past me faster than I’d like to admit.  I thought this would be a nice slow time of year for us, but it ended up that that was not the case.  I admit there were a few days that I didn’t get out my camera or didn’t get it out for personal shots.  I’m not going to beat myself up over it though.  I’m happy to add in a few other faves to round out my month.

So without further adieu… in no particular order (I actually think they are backwards for the most part)…I give you my February images 🙂

He can still fit in Mamsy’s sink for bath time if need be 🙂

What a fun day at the Lancaster Library Pinkalicious Party Day!  Laila picked out her own outfit.  I tried to encourage her to wear something pink, but she insisted on this purple “party” dress.  Once she has her mind made up on an outfit, there is no changing it…I love her sense of fashion and that she knows what she wants!

The girls were able to “decorate” their own cupcakes at the end.  I’m happy to report that Laila did not like her cupcake (I wonder why) and ended up scraping off the sugar and most of the icing.

Cole found the “puter” while the librarian read Pinkalicious stories to the girls.  Look at that tongue!

The kids thought they wanted to go play out in the snow…maybe next year we’ll have more luck. 🙁

I love this picture of Jasmine…its hard to see here, but she is completely airborne and getting that stick no matter what!  She’s always had this much drive and determination…love my girl 🙂

Laila’s Valentine treat to take into her school and also a little love note that I tucked inside her lunchbox for the “Lunch Bunch” Day.  This is when the kids are able to pack and eat lunch at school if they want.  Neffsville Christian Nursery School has been so wonderful not only for Laila, but for both of my nephews and numerous other cousins that have been through their pre-school program.

Laila and Daddy at Laia’s first skating competition, The Keystone State Games.  She loved staying and watching the older girls compete too, saying that she wanted to learn how to do what they were doing 🙂

The first one may be a little confusing…Laila used to be obsessed with Beauty and the Beast.  She had gotten a little tea cart (complete with Mrs Potts, Chip and all) for Christmas when she was 2 and it immediately became her favorite toy!  It was not the most sturdy toy, but when it fell apart, we kept putting it back together.  Finally with all of the other toys that the kids have acquired and with how often the plastic cart kept falling apart, we finally made the decision to throw it out.  I’m normally the sentimental one, but even Josh said he could barely stand to see it sitting outside with the trash.  Needless to say, I bought a replacement right away and the kids have loved playing with the new one!

Stuck in the house for days on end, so I went on an organizing / spring cleaning spree!  I don’t use the changing table for Cole barely at all anymore so I tried out a Pinterest idea and hung Laila’s tutus on a shower curtain rod…I think she (or maybe its me!) has a problem…LOL

I can’t believe I have a 4 and a 2 year old.  They are the loves of my life…they’re crazy at times, but I wouldn’t change a thing about either of them.  We had the most awesome birthday party at The Lititz Rec Center complete with a bounce house, food, and then ending with swimming!  The kids and adults all had a blast and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening.  Love my babies and I’m so glad they had fun.  The photo of Laila by herself, is her all decked out in new birthday gifts.  I love that in the photo of her in the pool, you can also see my mom with Cole in the background too.

Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing my February Project 365 images.  Off to edit March’s and also some other personal faves.  🙂
