What better way to kick of July, than at the cabin? A week unplugged from technology. A week to focus on what’s important. We rode, we fished, we laughed, we ate, we played, we sang, we squealed with excitement over our very own personal fireworks show. I love my family and treasure these special times that we have together. For anyone that knows me, I am not naturally a camping, woodsy, play-in-the-dirt kind of girl, but that is probably because my family never grew up doing those kinds of things. Over the years that I’ve been married to Josh, I’ve grown to love and appreciate our time up in Clearfield, PA. Now, I think you’d be surprised to see some of the places I go while out in the woods on the quad. 🙂 Here are just a few photos from our 4th of July this year! Hope you and your family has been enjoying your summer too! It goes by too fast, in my opinion!
The new kids in town…watch out!! 🙂
He can’t wait!
Yes, Josh took Cole for rides on the dirt bike. Cole knew just where to hold and loved every second of it!
Cole waiting patiently and not so patiently…LOL!
Josh woke up with me to watch the sunrise, and then we went for an early morning 4-wheeler ride. Its so quiet and peaceful up there at that time of day…like you’re the only ones around.
Like Father, Like Son. He wants to fish just like his Daddy. Seriously melts my heart.
Deep sea on a yacht or on a little pier in Clerlield, PA with his family, Josh is just happy to be fishing. 🙂
Look at this gorgeous girl and her big happy smile! Nothing makes me more happy.
Snack time. Cole was being a goofball for the camera…LOL
Jasmine wanted to check out Daddy’s catch too!
Documenting all the places that Cole goes with his mower. I think I will cry when he outgrows this 🙁
Shot through the campfire smoke. Love this little smile!
Love this one on the right. This is the face he makes when he’s telling me that something is “Yucky!”
I had this image in my head of exactly what I wanted…I have to thank Josh for driving around until I found just the right light!
First time (for my kids at least) with little firecrackers and sparklers…needless to say, they were very excited!
Obviously, the “monster trucks” were Cole’s favorites! Love these next few of Cole with his Pop-Pop too 🙂
Story time while we wait for it to get dark!
Thanks, Pop-Pop, for the awesome firework show!!!
Mams and her grandbabies (minus little Ben who was sound asleep…yes, even through the firework show)!!!
